Blender projects

I have worked in Blender many times over the last couple of years, I started working in Blender before I started my game design study and at this point my focus was on learning the basics and best practices in Blender.

I started with tutorials which led to my first project on my own. I used a 2D reference and created a 3D scene from it. Later I used a reference of a poloroid camera to create a close recreation.

During my game development journey, Blender has come in handy for many solo projects and game jams. Mainly the puzzle design toolkit, Pom Poko, and Solarpunk Farming.

The result of my first individual project after following multiple Tutorials. The house is modelled after the reference images on the right.

A reference image i used to create he model seen on the left. The creator of this image is Garrett Lee

A recreation of the OneStep 2 camera from Poloroid thjat i made with the attempt to get as close to the original in shape and material.

All the models i made for the puzzle design kit project. To see them in their context check out the "Puzzle design kit" project page

BlockBench projects

BlockBench is a simple modelling program that allows you to create simple models with pixilated textures.

I wanted to learn more about this tool and after some early experimentation, I decided to use this tool to create the models for a game jam where I created Synthesis.

The use of this tool was very easy and i intend to explore this software more in future projects.
